Course Overview
Our 5-week program explores the basics of Zhuyin Traditional Chinese (Bopomofo) -- the Mandarin phonetic symbols. This program is FUN, INTERACTIVE, and ENCOURAGING for both the student and their parents. At the end of this program your little one will understand the philosophy of traditional Chinese Bopomofo symbols, the specific stroke orders when writing the symbols, and how to fine-tune the pronunciation of all 37 symbols.

Rather than having your little one sit in a classroom for extended periods of time, this program is delivered in weekly modules of ~2-3 hours per week for 5 weeks. Each weekly module includes:

This course is appropriate for kids ages 3.5 to 9. You and your little one will explore traditional concepts of Chinese language and culture through interactive activities to help expand their comfort zone and build connections in a new way!
NOTE: This course will be delivered in Mandarin.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should my kid enroll if he/she doesn't know any Bopomofo?
Of Course! We've had plenty of students with little to no experience in Bopomofo. However, they should have conversational knowledge of Chinese Mandarin.
What if my kid can't make every class?
That's fine! We record each of the classes and upload it to a private course page where you can access the replays. We also send a recap email to parents 15-minutes after each class ends so you know exactly what was covered.
Will my kid fully understand Bopomofo after 5-weeks?
As long as they follow our schedule of classes, homework, and practice activities included in the course we're confident they will master the fundamentals in 5-weeks.
What if my kid needs additional help?
FeiFei's Kids offers 1:1 tutoring that can be scheduled as much as your kid requires.
Do parents and caregivers need to be present during class?
Nope, feel free to take 45-minutes off! You're welcome to join but we encourage to let your kid join independently.
Can I enroll 2+ kids in the course together?
Yes, but please send us a message with their ages and ability levels before enrolling. We also offer a sibling discount!
