《麵包小偷》是一本深深觸動我的繪本。
This picture book deeply touched me!

一開始，我選擇閱讀這本書純粹是因為我自己特別喜歡吃麵包。每天一定要來一個，而我們家總是買備各式各樣的麵包。在我們家裡，無論你想吃可頌、吐司、台味菠蘿麵包，還是多穀物麵包和Challah，通通都有。我先生經常開玩笑說我應該考慮開一家麵包店 😂。
I first picked this book out simply because I have a special bond with bread. If you have ever been my guest then you will know that our home is always stocked with various types of bread -- from croissants, toast, Taiwanese pineapple buns, whole-grain sourdough, or Challah...we have them all! Hah. My husband often jokes that I should consider opening a bakery 😂

細細品嚐這本書後，就會發現作者 (#柴田啓子) 的用心，故事中蘊藏了深刻的訊息。例如：

閱讀這本書的過程中，帶我回到了兒時的回憶，彷彿坐上了時光機，跟著媽媽一起逛麵包店。這也是我想與孩子們分享這本書的原因之一。在學習語言的過程中，透過閱讀書籍，不僅可以提升語言的能力，還可以透過繪本中的故事，與孩子分享我們自身的經歷及背景，啟發更深層次的連結，這點非常重要！帶孩子更了解我們，同時也建立了交流的橋樑，這樣的互動是獨一無二的，還能激發起孩子們的好奇心！對我來說，與孩子一起共讀是最美好的事之一了！
Reading this book takes me back to childhood memories, as if I've boarded a time machine and joined my mother on trips to the local bakery. 

That's one of the reasons I want to share this book. In this bilingual journey, reading books not only enhances language skills but also allows us to share our own experiences and backgrounds throughout the stories, fostering deeper connections with little ones - this is crucial!

It helps children understand us better and builds a bridge for communication. Such interactions are so unique and can spark children's curiosity! To me, that's what makes reading extra special! ❤

事實上，這本書也提醒我，勇敢且用力去追求自己熱愛的事物，並且將這份熱愛分享給他人！就像我教注音符號的理念一樣 ❤

In fact, this book also reminds me of the importance of having the courage to chase after what truly matters, be it your dreams or your passions, just like my commitment to teaching kids Bopomofo!
